- NSX 1kW Echosounder
The first Simrad mid-level display model to feature a 1kW equivalent traditional sonar, the NSX also provides hi-resolution, down and side active-imaging when paired with an appropriate transducer.
The first software release after launch will allow the NSX to share sonar with other NSX devices as well as connect to external sonar modules like the SonarHub and the S5100.

The full range of Halo Dome and Open Array Radars are supported by NSX. Multiple radars at one time are supported
- Familiar Autopilot Control
Including support for NAC-1, NAC-2, NAC-3 and NAC-D Pilots
- Network capability
NMEA 2000 – the units support most NMEA 2000 devices and sensors* including engine interfacing, AutoPilot and Audio control.
An Ethernet network supports connections to multiple radars, sharing of C-MAP Discover™X and Reveal™X chart data and IP cameras between other NSX units.
The ethernet network also allows the sharing of user created content (waypoints, routes, trails) across the network consisting of NOS and other NSX units.
Some networking functionality with legacy devices is anticipated, but please consult with product expert for networks consisting of legacy NOS and new NEON devices.

Software updates have never been easier when using the
Synchronize your Routes and Waypoints between your Simrad accounts on your NSX, tablet or phone when connected directly with the internet.
- NSX SolarMax HD IPS screens
NSX comes in 7”/ 9”/12” displays with SolarMax HD IPS technology – optimized for viewing from all angles and in-bright sunlight – even while using polarized glasses.
NSX’s leads the industry in footprint size versus display size.
This flexibility allows best use of dash and screen space, allowing larger displays in smaller places while also providing a streamlined and attractive options for mounting.
- NSX GPS
The NSX features a 10Hz update rate to ensure reliable position and updates. The GPS module provides constellation support for GPS, Glonass, Galileo, Beidou and QZSS.
The GPS chipset used can track up to 48 channels if available even though our units do not display them. The NSX will keep position lock with very low GNSS signal.
